The Hailey family is only one of the many families discriminated against within the community. When Tonya Hailey is brutally plundered and nearly obscure by two racist men, her father, Carl Lee, in a flash wants for revenge. He hides in the courthouse and when the two men be jamn to trial he shoots and hides them. Both acts of violence were provoked b y racism and they caused turbulency within the community. Though rape and score are extreme point cases of racism, less severe cases play everyday.
